SIX STUDY TOOLS AND APPS THAT I USE
Hello and welcome to my blog! As a student, I know how essential it is of having good study tools and apps at your side. I've tried and tested several tools and apps over the years and have limited it down to six that have shown to be really useful for my studies. In this blog post, I will be sharing my personal experience with these six study tools and apps, discussing their features and benefits, and explaining how they have helped me improve my productivity and achieve academic success. I believe that these study tools and apps can help you streamline your study routine and achieve your academic goals, whether you are a high school student, a college student, or a lifelong learner. So let's get this party started!
1. Merriam-Webster Dictionary
The Merriam-Webster app is a free dictionary available in
the Android and Apple app stores.
When I'm studying, I struggle to discover the definition of
a term in a physical dictionary, and sometimes I don't have a decent internet
connection, so I can't find it on the internet. But, thanks to this software, I
can just input the word I'm looking for, and there it is, the definition. This
software also assists me in understanding the meaning of the terms that I seek,
as well as in avoiding the purchase of actual copies of the dictionaries that
we require in class.
2. Google Notes
Google Notes is an app that allows you to take, edit, share,
and collaborate on notes from any device, anywhere. Keep notes, lists,
photographs, and audio files. Label and color code your notes to keep them
organized. Set and forget.
Google Notes has been a lifesaver for me. I no longer use
paper and spend very little money on paper as a result of this software. It
educates me to be a paperless man. As someone who is too lazy to write and is
always on the phone, Google Notes allows me to simply click on it and, presto,
there are my notes that I need to study.
3. Quizlet

Quizlet is a web and mobile app that improves students'
learning using a variety of study tools such as flashcards and game-based
quizzes.
Quizlet is a web-based application that allows users to
create interactive flashcards, quizzes, and study activities.
Quizlet definitely helps me with my exams, quizzes, and
summative assessments. I can recollect and review the lessons that I need to
study by using this application. Quizlet has reduced my reliance on paper,
which is a good thing. Save the planet!
4. Brainly
Brainly is a crowdsourced homework question and answer site
with content covering 20 categories. Students ask questions about a specific
school subject or grade level, and other students and subject experts respond,
with a maximum number of answers permitted per question.
Brainly is very common among today's students. I am one of
those students who does not always have the patience to seek answers, but this
is not always the case. Brainly is a fantastic tool for studying and
researching answers to questions. I'm also one of the students who contributes
answers to the app, so it's a win-win situation, hehe.
5. YouTube
YouTube is a website dedicated to video sharing. Millions of
users have formed profiles on the site, allowing them to upload videos that
anybody may see.
The YouTube app is quite beneficial to my studies. When I
don't grasp a lesson, I simply go to YouTube and view it. This is quite
beneficial to me. To be honest, I'm not sure why I can't follow the lesson
while my teacher is discussing it, but I can easily understand it on YouTube.
Is it because I have the ability to pause and flash back and forth? haha.
6. Google Calendar
Google Calendar is a time management and scheduling
application developed by Google. It enables you to schedule appointments,
organize your daily duties, and much more. People who need to simplify and plan
their busy schedule will benefit the most from the time management application.
Google Calendar assists me in organizing the due dates for
my activities. I often end myself cramming for my activities since I don't know
how to manage my time. I'm aware that there are other schedule planner
applications available on the Play Store, but I prefer Google Calendar because
it takes up less storage space and is easier to use.
Students can benefit greatly from using study tools and applications. I've shared six study tools and apps with you that have helped me stay organized, focused, and efficient in my studies. These tools, which range from note-taking to time management, have enhanced my studying experience and assisted me in achieving academic achievement. I invite you to experiment with them and see how they work for you. Remember that using study tools and applications is only one piece of the puzzle that is academic success, but every piece counts. So, let us embrace current technologies in order to make studying and learning easier and more pleasurable. Good luck with your studies!
